What physiotherapy modalities does Dr. Bethel use?

What types of insurance does Dr. Bethel accept?

Dr. Bethel is a PPO provider with the following: Cigna, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Medicare, First Health, and Mail Handler's.  We will accept and file most insurance claims, many of which do cover chiropractic treatment.  You will be responsible for any deductions or co-payment required at the time of service.  For questions regarding insurance coverage call our office at 309-757-7100

What if I don't have insurance?

Dr. Bethel offers a time of service discounted fee schedule for all patients including those without insurance.  Feel free to call our office at 309-757-7100 with any questions about this fee schedule.

What can I expect on my first visit?

On your first visit to our office you should allow for at least an hour (maybe less) in order to complete all paperwork.  This also allows Dr. Bethel time to complete a thorough exam and get a full case history in order to insure you receive the best care possible.  Follow-up appointments are usually 15-20 minutes.

Can Dr. Bethel write missed school/work excuses?

Yes, Dr. Bethel is a licensed Chiropractic Physician.  If you are seen by him and it is determined to be medically/chiropractically neccesary, he will then complete the paperwork that is required to be excused from school/work.

Is chiropractic safe for pregnant women?

Absolutely! Chiropractic care is safe and especially helpful for pregnant women as their bodies transition for childbirth. Chiropractic care may help maintain pregnancy, control vomiting,and deliver full-term infants with ease.  It can also help relieve back pain, premature contractions and back labor. Women who come for regular monthly adjustments throughout their pregnancy, will receive free treatments for both mother and child for 6 months after delivery (up to 6 treatments)!  Ask Dr. Bethel for more details.

Is chiropractic safe for children?

Of Course!  Parents, clinicians, and researchers over the decades have noticed positive changes in the physical, behavioral and emotional health of children under the care of a chiropractor.  Some of the benefits that have been observed are: improvements in children with hyperactivity, autism, anxiety, low mental stamina, lack of concentration, discipline probelms, and even asthma.  There are many issues that can afflict children that may be helped or relieved by chiropractic care.  The following list includes examples of just a few of these afflictions.
