 2004-2005 Dr. Bethel completed the year-long Chiropractic Certification in Spinal Trauma. (CCST)

May 26-27, 2005 Dr. Bethel Dr. Bethel was honored to be chosen as one of the presenters at the historic, First International Symposium on Chiropractic in Russia at St. Elizabeth Hospital in St. Petersburg, Russia. Dr. Bethel's presentation was on the Science of the Subluxation Complex. As a result of the symposium the government of St. Petersburg and St. Elizabeth Hospital elected to request a Doctor of Chiropractic in their outpatient clinic.

March 7, 2007 Dr. Bethel was featured presenter at the IPSCA district 7 meeting. The subject of his presentation was the status of the Chiropractic project in Russia.

June 16-17, 2007 Dr. Bethel and Staff were at the Radish Magazine's 1st Annual Healthy Living Fair at the Quad City Botanical Center in Rock Island, IL to discuss the many benefits of Chiropractic care, Massage, Reflexology and Russian Therapies.

July 1-15, 2007 Dr. Bethel and his wife Elena Bethel, MA, RN travelled to St,Petersburg and Moscow, Russia to monitor the progress of the Chiropractic project proceeding in St. Petersburg since 2004. Dr. Bethel and Dr. Konovalov are pictured (above) in the Chiropractic Clinic in St. Elizabeth Hospital in St. Petersburg, Russia.

August 9-11, 2007 Dr. Bethel and staff attended Palmer Homecoming in Davenport, IA. Programs attended were: Chiropractic Imaging Practicum, The Science of Chiropractic Subluxation and Neurology, X-Ray Interpretation: Focus on Problem Areas of the Lumbar Radiographs, The Science of Wellness, The Biggest Subluxation in Chiropractic, The Dr-Patient Relationship, and others.

September 29, 2007 Dr. Bethel and some staff members will attend a seminar in Chicago regarding computerized filing, billing and daily "SOAP" note taking to enhance patient care, record-keeping and movement toward a more environmentally sensitive "paperless" office.

October 19-21, 2007 Dr. Bethel and staff members attended the Illinois Prarie State Chiropractic Association's Fall Convention in Galena, IL.

January 5, 2008 (Saturday) 1:00pm to 4:00 pm. Annual Russian Christmas celebration at Southpark Chiropractic. Traditional Russian dishes and beverages and Russian Music, everyone is welcome!

January 10-13, 2008 Dr. Bethel and staff attended the Karl Parker Seminar in Las Vegas. Great information on nutrition, wellness and many great techniques.

February 16-17, 2008 Dr. Bethel attended a Nutrtional Neurology Seminar by Dr. Dan Murphy in Des Moines, IA

December 10-13, 2009 Dr. Bethel and staff attended the Florida Chiropractic Association Convention in Naples, FL.  Physical rehab, nutrition, prevention of medical errors, and much more.
